I think you almost have to go that way even with Zack's slow start at Springfield.
I like Oscar Taveras. I'll stick him in there on upside, though Wong and Cox will be under the Arch quicker.

Tyrell Jenkins has to be in there as well. He's still 18, and has huge upside. Goldstein had him as high as #2 on our list, and while I wouldn't put him there, I'd put Wong definitely in the top-5, but probably in that area.

Oscar Taveras has to stay healthy to be ahead of Wong for me. Wong has already caught Taveras in level, and isn't much older. Ceiling/floor thing there, and I could go either way, but Taveras has a lot to prove still.

A healthy Cox and Wong is essential to the virility of our farm system.

This was the best play I've seen over their names, and there were quite a few.

Angels are giving CJ Cron $1.467MM. Makes Wong at 33k more look like a good price.

A couple of usual suspects on Twitter say it's official. Wong is headed to QC.

The question I have is when will he be the best middle infielder under contract? Not best prospect, but simply the best middle infielder. I'm calling mid-2012.

He also signed for $1.3MM, slightly less than the $1.5MM reported initially (and almost exactly for slot).

To answer Greenback's question... you're probably right as long as Theriot doesn't get moved to 2B.
