Honestly though, it's becoming a pet peeve of mine. Americans (and a Brit in this case) have become so lazy that they can only use one word critiques, and it's on one end of the spectrum or the other. Seriously, I've watched some auditions on American Idol, and while they aren't star caliber, they aren't bad. But Simon treats them the same ("that was terrible") as the guy who comes in and can't get a single note right. Can we not point out flaws without saying something is "horrible", "terrible", or the infamous "sucks"?
