I doubt it...pitchers like Glavine and Maddux never seem to fall off a cliff. They may be a shell of their former selves, but they still know how to really pitch (as opposed to just throw), and that alone is enough to keep them right around league average almost as long as they want to play.

I consider anything but a DP here a successful AB from PW.
And, as I'm typing it, he DPs....awesome.

Glavine nibbling the corners with AP...3-0, then a questionable strike called outside, then AP swings at ball four outside. AP flies out on ball four redux...outside.
Not a lot of patience there, Glavine gave him the walk 2...maybe even 3 times over.

He's throwing everything for strikes, and hitting both corners...looks sharp.
Alou takes the extra base on an offline throw back in from Taguchi.
