And I thought we were friends.
OK, I'm sorry, I meant to say the players were upset by all the swearing in the game chat.

LOL, everyone thought that the ON game was going to be better than the ring game. I'm going to the ring game which I knew was going to be better and we're going to get our first win. HAHA to all you doubters. :P

It was nice to see Adam swing the bat the way he did in his first AB.

I have no doubt Albert and Scotty will have monster years if they stay healthy.

Yadi didn't look horrible at the plate.

So...did last year rattle his confidence in the field? I'm now nervous when anything gets hit his way.

Carp wasn't sharp but I think he'll be ok.

Everyone looked a little tight/tired. Long week for them. I think Tuesday we'll see a different team out there. I prefer a day game for opening day at Busch.

He just doesn't seem to be getting good reads at all.

I was at the game and it was alright.

About the stadium and ceremony:
1) Liked the World Champion Flags
2) Liked the improvements, but I didn't get a chance to walk around
3) The guy with the FuManchu in front of me was weird

Few things about the game:
1) Gooch...yeah, bad
2) Yadi hit pretty well
3) Oquendo NEVER should have tested Beltran's arm
4) Squeeze fell short
5) Carp didn't look as sharp
6) P-Dub needs to start hitting

1,3,4 took the fans out of it.

As we have said before on this forum, after Pujols and Rolen, we need another bat...because Pujols will get walked a lot this year.

EDIT: Plus celebrating all day tired a lot of fans.

What do you think about Pwilson, Taguchi, and JimmyE?

I'm worried, and I've voiced my opinion on Jimmy Baseball in another thread

They make me wonder if we can afford to wait until July before looking for another outfielder. Jim will be fine if he's healthy. So should have caught both of those balls. The first would have been a great catch but it could have been made. And him and Wilson both looked lost at the plate. I think a lineup with Duncan and Spezio from the left side will provide much more potential pop.

Agreed. I hope we see Duncan and Spezio on Tuesday.
