Jeez Soriano, strike out already. Eventually he's going to get a hold of one.

Because Jim Hendry is a dumbass and didn't foresee the outfield logjam. With Pie and Soriano entrenched in LF and CF, that leaves Jones, Floyd and Murton vying for time in right. Matt hasn't started since last Saturday.

Reyes will be lucky to make it through the 5th once again. Don't get me wrong, I like the results.

Ah, I see.

So will they be sending Pie down again?

Nope. Lou doesn't want to give the CF defense duties to Jones full-time as he's the only one who plays center now that Sorianos sticking in left. Pie will probably play two out of three games with Jones getting the other one.

This of course could all change if Pie struggles a lot. The Cubs are enamored with his Gold Glove caliber defense.

Bob mentioned that right-handers are killing Reyes this year. So maybe that has something to do with it.

And, one of these guys said "Bill James" and WGN looks like they are showing OBP for most of the new batters. Baby steps I guess, but it's nice to see.

Anyway, I just got home. How's Reyes look?

Len's plug to their blog earlier referred to a post on pythag win-loss record.

He's looked fine. Command has been here and there, but he's done well. He's getting up there in pitches.
