Yes. It was very poor defense on Liddell's part. Pretty much non existent defense. He lands the body punch (barely) and almost in slow motion [expletive] the right hand to continue. Rampage pulls his head quick and swings to back Chuck off. Only Chuck just moves in slow motion. I've seen weaker punches knock guys out. But this was by no means a pounding.
I never said it was a pounding. The pounding took place in their first fight, apparently before Liddell had a weak chin. The whole sequence is pure awkwardness on Liddell's part. Please point out to me where Liddell "get's inside" on him. With his reach advantage and outside striking ability, that's the last place he'd wanna be. Jackson wasn't backing him off. Chuck backed off just fine on his own and failed to defend the inevitable conuter punch. These guys spend the majority of their waking hours trying to refine the art of rendering other human beings unconcious as quickly as possible. Jackson did just that.
