Cyclists are among the most doped up athletes in the world. If you strip it from Armstrong, who gets it? 'Cuz I'll bet the entire field was doped up.

Media coverage for the US Anti-Doping Agency is kinda annoying. They seem intent on presenting the USADA as some sort of government entity ("bringing charges"), and I'm guessing that these attempts at confusion are deliberate on the part of the USADA.

Armstrong is about as douchey as an athlete can get, but this whole thing reeks of a personal vendetta that has been kept alive for years. I'd rather it all just go away.

Absolutely. Even today cyclists are being handed suspensions for doping like it's candy. There are already a number of cyclists who accused him of doping back when he was winning who have already been given 2 year suspensions for doping.

Amen. Imagine the anger issues among the bacteria in those cups of pee.

I knew a guy that raced professionally, he's in his 50's now and still racing local stuff. If you listen to him (and I believe he is telling the truth), it's just a way of life with cyclists. Mixing chemicals is as important as the type of wheels you are riding on.

I don't get it. Why not just get tired earlier and call it a day?

I would think the appeal would be obvious.

Just like half of GRB's cycling team, Lance Armstrong throws in the towel.
