Re: Rant: Post-Dispatch
Meh. There's plenty of other free content out there, and for my local paper, if I'm out of free articles, I can just read the article in the hard copy in the lunchroom at work. The PD's [expletive] website has to reduce traffic to some degree - at least several fewer hits from me each week. I assume they're trying to hit the traffic vs. revenue/[expletive]-ness sweet spot. As it is, I actively avoid the PD whereas I usually read my article limit each month in my local paper.
Each person and website has their preferences and learn to live within them I guess.

There's lots of free content...not at all of it is good. I think Derrick Goold is a must-read for Cardinals fans. The others...less so, but it wouldn't take long to blow through.

Don't know why they are wasting newsprint covering the effing Rams draft moves.

If I had to guess there is still a decent amount of traffic.Freed Roger wrote:Don't know why they are wasting newsprint covering the effing Rams draft moves.

I'm tempted to click on those articles just to leave a comment telling them to stop posting those stories because I don't even want to see the Rams' name mentioned in a Saint Louis publication ever again. Unless it is making the organization look bad. Then post away!
I'm still full of anger over how everything went down.

If I read the PD with any regularity, I would.tlombard wrote:I'm tempted to click on those articles just to leave a comment telling them to stop posting those stories because I don't even want to see the Rams' name mentioned in a Saint Louis publication ever again. Probably not the right thread - but is the new stadium proposal permanently shelved or is the city/state going to use it to guilt Goodell into getting a new team?

I've had good luck going around this by opening links in an incognito window.Gashouse wrote: if I'm out of free articles
