I just watched Tebow for 5 minutes last night, and my life is better for it.

You know who shares a birthday with Carp?

As of today, my beautiful baby girl.

lgc89, that is great news! Woo hoo! Congrats on your baby daughter! It seems like just yesterday when you were getting married. How is your wife/family doing?

Baby is doing fantastic. Alert and calm when she's awake. Not much of a cryer so far. When she was born she tested out her lungs for a bit and that has been pretty much it. Even when she got her shots in the hospital nursery she cried about 2 seconds and was over it. Lucky girl even got her mom's cute nose.

Momma had a pretty rough time however. We got in Sunday night to begin inducing and by 10 this morning she had only gotten to a 4 dilation. We called the game on account of not progressing and had a C section around 3pm. As you might imagine, after 40 hours of epidural-assisted labor followed by surgery she's extremely exhausted.

Wow, that sounds like a serious ordeal! I hope your wife is doing well after the C section and resting up. Glad to hear about your beautiful, healthy daughter. Exciting time!

5 years. Geez, time flies. Life happens, and it sure happens fast. I've added 2 more kids and lived in 2 more towns since this day.
