Doesn't help the slugging tonight with Burleson sitting.??? Didn't he just hit 3 homers last night and JW is sitting with a leg issue.

Vs. the tough righty Bednar, I was wondering about saving Burly for Velaquez's spot. I would've trusted Fermin more than Velasquez, and it was an easy decision to IBB Burley with the base open. But then again, it was 2 out, and that was a tough call.

Almost drove 3.5 hours to watch a game the Cardinals batted José Fermin third. Fortunate decision to stay home.

I fell asleep in the fifth inning and don't think I missed much.
Cards lose 2-0. Rubber game tomorrow.
