Should I feel guilty for getting a charge out of these smokin intelligent ladies taking on the humanitarian cause? I think not.

Ashley Judd did this demo with water purifier packets they are sending to Haiti -turns crud water into drinkable water -was brilliant, especially when she took a big drink of it.
You know what she could have done with the water that would have been more brilliant?
with her skill set, she'd be great to have along on a backpacking trip.

here's one of her demos

Let's take the Judd sisters. You can have Wynona.

You may regret that deal if we get lost in the Donner Pass.

I think we are seeing Steven Seagal's finest acting performance of his career on his show Lawman. I love how they always bring the perp to Seagal after he finally gets his fat ass out of the truck so he can put them in the car and act like he's doing something. Also it gives him a chance to drop some life knowledge on the guy since Seagal has been through so much. The laughably bad cajun accent that he has magically acquired puts it over the top.

New docu-reality show that doesn't belong on the "History Channel" but caught my interest.

American Pickers

kind of like the other junk show, Pawn Stars that
I admit to watching

The camera follows these guys as they go looking for collectibles to buy off people in rural America.
The first episode was Ok, not great.

The sole* reason I take valuable GRB space to mention this show is because it travels around rural midwest -based not far from Quad Cities. They are covering terrain that is familiar to a lot of us here.

*ok, I really mention it just to piss the Drifter off over another reality show.

Caught an episode of 'Community' and didn't think much of it. Joel McHale's smug works on the Soup, but it just bothers me in this show. It just wasn't very funny. But maybe it was a weak episode.

I've started watching 'Bored to Death.' The first episode was interesting but not hysterical. The second episode was both. Maybe I just had to warm up a little. I think I'm going to like it.

I also DL'd (I'm not sure how else you can see it) and watched 'Heat Vision and Jack,' a pilot starring Jack Black as a genius astronaut and Owen Wilson as a talking motorcycle directed by Ben Stiller in 1999. I thought it was hilarious. I don't see how it could have gone past a few episodes, but it's a shame all we got was the one.

That sounds good. I'll have that.
Louis's promo for the show. I'm guessing FX doesn't air this.

SNL has been awful this year, but I caught some of Jon Hamm last night and it was pretty funny.
