Think it's interesting that Eckstein pushed so hard for Oquendo in a story on Foxsports. It's not predictive or anything but it's revealing about what players might think of Oquendo.

I think it's more a matter of Eckstein doing what people do, which is answer questions about stuff they don't really have answers to.

odd that he's the one returning and TLR is the one retiring. Thought it would be the reverse of that.

I was busy most of the day and I only found out about this a few hours ago...I'm officially shocked by this.
I've only ever watched Cardinal Baseball with any fan passion when TLR was managing. I don't know what to expect without him.
