I was at the game last night. It was frustrating. LV spent waaaaaaaaaay too much time in our zone and we turned the pick over a ton. I hope they can turn on their A game again cause the last two games especially were not it.

Great game, but it was nowhere near as lopsided as the score indicated. The special teams, and Husso and Perron individually were the difference makers. If MN manages to squeak one or two past Husso amongst all those chances, it's a completely different game.

Buckle up, it's going to be a crazy series.

The defense looked better. They weren't giving up wide open backdoor passes, which has really been their achilles heel of late. They got some really fortunate rebounds for all of Perron's goals, but credit to him he made 3 good shots to bury them.

They need to tighten up on the penalties, and not lean on their PK so much. Special teams are a distinct advantage for the Blues in this series, but Minnesota also has way too dangerous of offensive weapons to keep giving chances to.

I was pretty happy that Kaprisov didn't have a whole lot of space. The way Colorado skated circles around them, I was pretty worried about that. If you can shut this guy down, your chances are ok.

These teams were so even ignoring the head to head, this will be a long series. Though I am enjoying the Minnesota downers cry awhile, after their T-Wolves got knocked out too. 'Minnesota nice' is now 'Minnesota depressed'.

Too bad Twist never got the nickname of "The Chubby Checker."
