I'd buy every Pujols statue and tear it down.

I'd buy a restaurant and have a bronze statue of myself made and put in front of it.

also, Anaheim is not that much more expensive for him to play at than here. He can live where ever he wants, and he'll only eat in Anaheim like 90 days out of the year.

What if your current boss was also offering a 30% raise and you didn't have to move...
It would depend how strong my attachment was to my current situation, and how excited I'd be to try something different.

Not only is Anaheim much more expensive, even if he didn't live there the cost of flying himself and family around the country to be with them makes up for whatever artificially deflated market that LA is in right now.

We had a 10+ thread about the value of money in the beginning vs end of a contract, in the same vein $1 in STL =/= $1 in LA. Not even close.

I once figured my dream home, garage, and the cars to fill it would cost me around 17 million. So after that I don't know.

I would doubt that even gets presented to the player unless by ownership. The agent for the player gets a bigger cut because this number is bigger than this number.

Maybe he doesn't want to live in St. Louis? I mean, if you're not from here, there's definitely better places to be.

Kind of hope he moves to Miami

I was going to add that 50% extra would push me to Northern California if that were an option, vs. %30 to stay put. I have no idea what Albert thinks about So Cal, but keep in mind his family's in on this decision too.

I used to live in SoCal. I miss the nice weather, Disneyland and some of the people. But it was hellaciouslly expensive
