I don't envy anything about Tim Beckman's position. Except his salary, which won't be his salary for long.

Has there been mention in the thread of the Nigerian kid they have coming in who only has 2 years football experience? 6'2'' 220 OLB, DE, natural athlete- so they say. Seems like a boom or bust kind of recruit.

Brandon Martin flipped his commit from Mizzou to LSU. He was the only recruit from Texas barring a surprise.

It was going to be a really great class for Mizzou already. Adding Beckner to that class is awesome. Brandon Martin and Drew Lock, along with Beckner, is a nice haul.

Martin flipped his commitment to LSU.

Still, it's a really solid class for Mizzou. The six 4-star recruits is the most they've had in a class since 2010 had seven.

I have no idea if he'll ever sniff the field, but they got a walk on OLB/S who passed up scholarship offers from Memphis and Bowling Green to walk on at Mizzou.

I don't know if a kid would've passed up FBS offers to go to Mizzou a decade ago.
