Not mocking anyone's team jersey at a game or wearing golf gear to PGA. We all attend to adopt a look of sorts. You can spot a soccer fan a mile a way. I had a friend in college who was a Mod, (kind of an 80s hipster) Used to joke with him how in their effort to be non-conformists - they ended up looking alike (conforming).

FWIW- a good chunk of my casual clothes is walking billboard [expletive], related to my hobbies. Beer and trail races/outdoorsy [expletive].

Granted - Im cheap and the race shirts.hats are swag, and the brewery shirts mostly xmas gifts etc.

Next swim meet I go to I'm wearing a swim cap and a speedo.

Grown men wearing jerseys of their favorite players is one of those things that's socially acceptable, but when you really think about it adults wearing player jerseys should be mocked. It's along the same lines as a grown man bringing a glove to the ballpark.

Cargo shorts when I go out - athletic shorts at home.

lol i hear ya...been rocking adidas slides since college, and i'm 40. not like around the house (of course i wear them there)...but church and restaurants. and i'm not even sorry.
