That was delightful! Old 97s are indeed one of my bands. Seen them many times. In fact, once Rhett Miller (their singer/guitarist) dedicated the song "Question" to my wife and I from the stage at the House of Blues in Houston. Anyway, fun song, I hadn't heard that one before.

Not really an alternative Christmas song, I guess, but Amanda Shires' "For Christmas" (2021) was such a sweet album, and this is my favorite song from it.
