No country has gotten health care right. The highest rated countries are doing health care at a deficit.

They had a plan. Get sick and die. I know some Republicans take offense to that but it's damn true. The working and the poor, who are generally the people hurt by the health care industry are just burdens to the Republicans. They would be fine if everyone who made less then 100k a year just died.pioneer98 wrote:Ha. What was their plan for health care again?Leroy wrote:Yep, this is on the Republicans.
What is on Republicans is spurning health care reform at every single opportunity over the last 40 years. Dubya could have tried to do something with health care, but didn't. He could have taken this issue away from Democrats.
Back in the day, Nixon got the ball rolling downhill by opting for an HMO system. Reagan and both Bushes kicked the can down the road. Inbetween Clinton tried to bring us Hillary-care, which was met with extreme resistance that now looks quaint with how much the Tea Party resisted Obama.

I like how you know like four Republicans that think one way and can lump the whole damn lot as walking in lock step. Kind of arrogant if you ask me.IMADreamer wrote:They had a plan. Maybe so. I'm not talking about leaving the country though.

ok, but dont act like you are you are wise to things we aren't. you constantly make reference to situations or obama/democrat proposals that you don't agree with and then say "this board will love it" and then never mention your original "point" again. its kind of annoying. you assume everyone here who "defends" ACA is on the left when i would say many think that ACA does need some tinkering but when the right offers no solution other than flat out repealing, you get upset when people call out republicans for it and then you just continue the process that you indicate you do not care for (no movement forward/progress/compromise) with the same rhetoric from fox news.Leroy wrote:Maybe so. Wow, I'm a real ass.
I'd have an [expletive] transplant, but it'd probably reject me.
