That's what they want you to think.

It's simple, they ARE a good team....but they have to figure out how to elevate their game for the playoffs.
That's really the best solution, look for the right fit but don't make a panic trade. I'm just frustrated because it is highly unlikely we are able to move the right guys in this market.

I'd just love to see Osh, Jaybo, Jax, Berglund and Ott gone. That's a quarter of the roster and to me, would be a pretty big overhaul. Berglund, Ott and Jax could be replaced in house, so really you are looking for someone to repace Oshie and Jaybo from outside the org.

I'd prefer to keep Bergy & Jaybo. Bergy has not scored as much as he should, but I feel he's underappreciated on this dirty work, banging in corners, & cycling well. Jaybo had an off year & played hurt, but when he's healthy, he's a plus in the transition & PP, & fast on his skates.

I hope Bouwmeester was playing hurt because he was awful last year.

I hope so too, but he was so damn consistent before last season that I can't help but think that it had to be.

He still owes us one more season if he decides to play in the NHL. We retain his rights. However, the KHL is paying him 1+ million more annually, so he's just playing there. As long as they're paying him significantly more, I doubt we see him.
