Dude - I never knew because we had three boys and then our girl with Down Syndrome. Then as friends girls grew into teenage years, I got to witness the death matches between mothers and daughters. I couldn't believe it. Has this been a thing like forever or is it just our modern world?wart57 wrote:Raising girls is difficult.
My brain hurts.
My 11 year old might as well be 18 the way she talks and acts to Mrs. Wart. I grew up with 4 sisters - i never heard one of them talk to our mother the way Stinky talks to Mrs. Wart. Scary as [expletive].Joe Shlabotnik wrote:Dude - I never knew because we had three boys and then our girl with Down Syndrome. My two sisters never ranted or raved to anyone, much less our mother. I've had to bite my tongue numerous times around other mother/daughters. Our new daughter in law is over all that and about to make me a grandpa any day, but her father let it be known (the very first time I met him) what a pain in the ass she had been and there was going to be a No Returns policy after the wedding.wart57 wrote:My 11 year old might as well be 18 the way she talks and acts to Mrs. Wart.
