i really want to buy a bottle of rum to sip and suppress these last 2 games (and possibly future games) but 1) i don't know a decent price/good quality brand 2) never really been a rum guy but it sounds tasty 3) i suppose it'd just be empty calories

Nice thing about rum is you can go cheap with it and still have a decent drink. Don Q or Captain Morgan are fine; or you can go for a Malibu and mix it with pineapple juice and feel like you are on the islands. And pineapple juice is healthy, right? RIGHT?

(though personally when I want rum; I usually want a coconut rum; and that is usually Wicked Dolphin; which makes my heart sing happy songs. Or have palpitations.)

i think i'm going to pick somethign up after work. i read a few lists of "great rum under 20" or "under 30" etc and think i can find at least one of thsoe at my local nearby store. i kinda wanted to avoid bacardi or capt morgan just 'cause they seem so...common/mcdonalds fast food like, if you will...but from what i was able to read, i don't think i should probably have that opinion i.e. they're good for price, etc

Capt Morgan is commonplace because of the commercials and all that but the quality is decent; just don't get the Private Stock; that's shildt. Bacardi Silver isn't terrible either but I don't drink it because it puts me in mind of wine coolers.
