Blues have reportedly called Ottawa to inquire about Craig Anderson.

If this team still thinks goaltending is the problem...

The only bigger douche bags than the glendale coyotes management group are the lawyers for the glendale coyotes management group.

Glendale has a budget of $641m. Equivalent of $3205 per person. Your right that their tax base can’t handle the costs, but that’s why they get millions from the State and Fed. My main point though is that CoG is pissing and moaning about losing approximately 2% of there budget, 5% of there General fund, yet their propped up heavily by subsidies from the outside. From people all over the State. This has nothing to do with the money and all about politics. The Yote’s contract is just the political boogie man everyone is afraid of but who’s threat/effect is pure fiction.
He did use the correct form of "effect," and the first "their" was a home run.

This might be more appropriate for a 2015-2016 thread but:

Blues will not be re-signing Jackman
The Blues have notified Blues defenseman Barret Jackman, 34, that they will be going in a "different direction" and thus not re-signing him this offseason.

Jackman, whose three-year, $9.5 million contract expires on June 30, will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. He will be allowed to sign with another organization without compensation.

I like and respect Jackman. I wish everyone on the team had his grit. But yeah, I'm OK with this. He's not getting us any closer to winning the cup.

Amen to that. I was really hoping they wouldn't bring him back. He's disappointed me for 2 seasons now.

Bortuzzo and/or Lindbohm can take his place.

Michael "Doc" Emrick is the best at what he does in any sport. Better than Buck, Michaels, Nantz, etc. etc.

I really didn't care who won but what a great game and series. It was fun to watch.

Sorry but here is a mini-rant: I get annoyed with all the hockey fans that have to put down baseball, the NBA, etc. Especially on hockey's best night in a long time. My various timelines had several Lebron put-downs and saying how "Oh, you'll never see a baseball player playing with that kind of injury" (referring to Bishop's groin injury). First off, tons of baseball players have tried playing with serious injuries like broken bones and things, in the playoffs at least. I'm not saying MLB players are as tough as hockey players...but they can be pretty tough when needed. Secondly, it's just like: Who cares? Why are you even thinking about the NBA or MLB right now? Get out of here and go celebrate.
