Yes but this is Neelix and Tuvok so -1 + 0.5 = -1/2

- Snw is just killing it. The city on the edge of forever tweaked ep, the charades ep, the very tos-entire episode in a court room but still exciting and stirring, and trek spoofing trek and lots of lovely nods to the franchise.
Also, Paul Wesley is nailing tos era Kirk. I think Kirk became a thing with the tng movies and when William Shatner himself became a bit of a parody. Watch tos and watch Paul Wesley. That’s tos Kirk.
From the last ep, the scotch they poured being the same that Scotty uses in tos to out drink that alien from the andromeda galaxy. Making pike fleet captain. So much I’m not mentioning because it’s a rabbit hole of goodness.
There are eps where you just know what’s going to happen but it’s done so well it’s still satisfying.
It’s a good time imo, to be a trek fan.

Strange New Worlds does, indeed, f'ing rule. The thing it does so well that the other new shows (non-animated) don't do, is give you reason's to care about the bridge crew in the same way TNG/DS9/VOY did. The episodes focused on individuals other than the captain as the A plot have been really, really good and now I actually care about all of the characters (La'an, Chapel, Uhura, Ortegas, Spock, and Una have all had great eps as the main plot character this season). I mean, Spock seems like a gimme, but Ethan Peck has a seriously tough job living up to the original and is extremely likable in the role.

Strange New Worlds is a great watch...they're doing everything right from what I have seen so far. And I agree with the sentiment about Ethan Peck...an almost impossible task of following Nimoy into the role but he is doing it his own way while respecting the original. Really enjoy it.
