Twins designated RHP Matt Bowman for assignment.
The 32-year-old right-hander will hit waivers with the Twins activating Jhoan Duran from the injured list. Bowman made five appearances across 11 days and posted a solid 2.35 ERA and six strikeouts across 7 2/3 innings of work. It would be shocking if a team didn’t take a chance on the journeyman.
That's not bad work...guess they just don't have space on their roster?
he had a FIP of 5.64 (4BB and 2H in those 7 2/3 innings)

Reds selected the contract of OF Conner Capel from Triple-A Louisville.
Capel will join the Reds’ active roster and brings with him a solid .964 OPS with seven homers and 16 RBI in his 122 plate appearances at the Triple-A level. He’ll be a reserve outfielder and doesn’t have much fantasy appeal.

Well that's interesting. Kudos to him. I'm kinda surprised by the lone clapper in the crowd though who is probably his wife. No extra love for a former MLB player in your graduating class, Penn State?

Diamondbacks released INF Kolten Wong.
Wong, 33, was signed to a minor-league contract in early April after he was released by the Orioles before the start of the season. The 33-year-old hit .271 with a .722 OPS with Triple-A Reno. Once one of the better second baseman in baseball, Wong’s scuffles over the last year-plus now have him looking for a new employer, and his days of fantasy relevance appear to be over.
