I know it was a joke, but I'm not exactly pumped about Victor Scott and Michael Siani manning CF. They are too similar of players. I'm still bummed they gave away Carlson for literally nothing.

true but it could, in this imaginary world, mean that the team didn't overvalue their prospects particularly when it comes to obtaining a generational talent. im also a billionaire in this world.

Solid low risk, high reward move. Obviously Carlson wasn't an option for the Cards, but I'd love a move like this for a CF option that can hit LHP.
