Re: 2017-18 NBA Thread
For the first time in my life, I'm doing a fantasy basketball league. Not just that, it's a keeper/dynasty, where I believe we keep 7-8 players. So, fire away... I had the last pick in a 12 team draft.
John Wall
D'Angelo Russell
Brandon Ingram
Ben Simmons
Demarcus Cousins
Gary Harris
Aaron Gordon
Nikola Vucevic
Malcolm Brogdon
Zach Randolph
John Collins
Ersan Ilyasova
Austin Rivers

Looks solid to me, McCrowe. You're missing that one superstar that you can count on to put up monster stats every night, but you couldn't control that picking 12th. I'd say you did a nice job.

Yeah, I figured with where I was, I was better off going for long haul than over time.

Anyone that thinks BottenFieldofDreams was too hard on Kevin Durant needs to understand that BottenFieldofDreams has a better mind than all the other cats on this board, and they'll never sniff his poop emoji. Fire emoji exclamation point. Print it on an outsole.

Gordon Hayward might be done for the year. Damn that looked bad.

That was tough to see, even knowing it was coming and watching a replay.
Sucks for Hayward, and sucks for Boston, they dealt off so much depth in the off-season to concentrate on getting a couple 2nd-tier stars and one of them goes down while the season is just a few minutes old.

I was at Milo's when it happened and I was glad that I didn't have my contacts in to see the replays of the injury very clearly from across the room. I knew it was bad even before hearing anything just based on the looks of everybody in the arena. I'll probably finally see the actual injury to Heyward before long today but I am not searching for it actively. I can't stand watching stuff like that.

Niko Mirotic and Bobby Portis get into it in practice. They've been competing for playing time for three years. Tempers flare. Portis throws a punch and literally breaks Mirotic's face.
Robin Lopez says that as a team they "feel there's blame on both sides."
Sounds like a certain politician.
