I'm cautiously optimistic.Ace wrote:I'm starting to become confident with Looper as a number 5 starter.Cronos69 wrote:The Spring has not been kind to Chad Bradford: 9.58 ERA, and I'm pretty sure that everytime the Cardinals have faced him they've scored on him.
6.2 IP, 4 H, 2 K for Looper, with 11 of 17 outs being ground balls.![]()

Almost got through the lineup 3 times this go-round. Whoa.

Dan, the reference to "so-and-so singling to so-and-so" simply means that the second so-and-so is the guy who fielded the ball after the base hit.
As for Reyes, I'll admit my concern is a little misplaced. It's just that every time I think he's turned the corner to being a consistently good pitcher, it seems he has a bad game (like his last one). Hopefully he'll bounce back against Memphis.

The new one definitely does not work very well. Here’s a graph of my cpu usage with the new version:Jocephus wrote:thanks. dont like that advertisment, and its a bit too "graphic heavy" for my work computer...phyrkrakr wrote:The old one is still available, just change the /y2007/ to /y2006/ if you prefer old look.

and with the old version:

I hope this is a work in progress and they will improve gameday before the season starts. I like the way the new one looks, but I’m not going to let it take up 25% of my cpus power.

Yea, I realize that.Jmodene wrote:Dan, the reference to "so-and-so singling to so-and-so" simply means that the second so-and-so is the guy who fielded the ball after the base hit.
It's the word "fly" that sounds weird.
i.e. top of the 2nd inning:
"Aaron Miles singles on a fly ball to centerfielder Cory Patterson."
Huh?
The word "fly" is used to describe nearly every single a player hits on gameday all spring long. I would prefer they use terms like "bloops" or "lines" a single to center.
