Isn't a color-blindness test on a computer monitor subject to computer monitor differences?jim wrote:I know the answer to this question: Because he can see colors. By every test I am color blind, yet I see on my screen light blues and dark blues and reds and whites and greens and every other color.
Doesn't matter, I flunk the real life ones too.greenback44 wrote:Isn't a color-blindness test on a computer monitor subject to computer monitor differences?jim wrote:I know the answer to this question: Because he can see colors. The test conclusively shows that you're legally dead, jim.jim wrote:When it comes to taking tests, I am color blind. The orange #12 that they say exists in the green dots I can't see. I mean I see a few orange dots, but it's not a number. I think it's a big scam myself, I don't think anyone can see those and they are just saying that to make me feel bad.

On this test above, going left to right top to bottom:
1. 25, clear as a bell.
2. Pretty much random dots.
3. 45 I think - but I couldn't swear to it.
4. 56.
5. Random dots
6. Thought it was a 6, but after looking closer I see that it is an 8.
The last test at the bottom I see a 2.
Jim is a force of nature. I've no doubt he could do just that if he put his mind to it.sighyoung wrote:The test conclusively shows that you're legally dead, jim.jim wrote:When it comes to taking tests, I am color blind. But thanks for moderating from beyond the grave.

Moderate from beyond? I could definitely do it.G. Keenan wrote:Jim is a force of nature. What other tests have you done? Ishihara isn't flawless, but it's pretty widely recognized as the industry standard for color blindness testing. You could actually have a red/green color distinction issue, and have just never known it until now.Cronos69 wrote:It's just a bit ambiguous in my case because I've done tests like this before and have never had problems with it(and not only recently, either) and this is the only test I've ever had an issue come up. Yes, I can see the 5 if I look at it for a few seconds. A slightly mishappen 8 or a 2 is the first thing pops to mind, though.
I doubt the test's validity a bit is all I'm saying. Not that it's supposed to be the be all end all of color blindness tests.
I see an 8...what does that mean?Michael wrote:I'm starting to think I'm mildly color blind. I can see a little bit of both numbers:
