Still, they look like idiots when you spend $28 Million on a WR, then sign another WR. It's his knee that brought up these concerns, correct?

The St. Louis Rams reached an agreement with No. 1 overall pick Sam Bradford on a six-year, $78 million deal, sources told ESPN on Friday night.

According to the sources, Bradford's deal contains $50 million of guarantees and has a max value of $86 million.

Bradford's deal has been finished. 50 million guaranteed. 6 years 78 million. Incentives up to 86 million.

No matter what the details say, it just became a little harder to sign Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees.

And it became a little easier to dial back rookie deals in 2011 once and for all.

If first round picks aren't worth what you are paying them, here's a crazy idea: Stop paying them so much.

Salary caps = "Save us from ourselves." If these contracts are really so bad, just don't sign your first round pick and on average you're better off than the people who did.
