Who the [expletive] is Alexi Ogando? And who the [expletive] is Chris Johnson?

That's who my autodraft took - guys I've never even heard of.

Ogando was going to be the closer if Felix stuck in the rotation, so I can see that. I have no excuse for Chris Johnson. I actually smirked when he was nominated. Of course, David Freese gets drafted by Cards fans, too, and he's no more fantasy relevant than Johnson.

So how many people missed the draft? JoD, me, ICE?

I was there, but skipped out when I only had a few bucks left and it wouldn't let me spend more than 1 dollar on anyone.

I wish the system just let us draft without restricting us to filling roster spots when it automatically places guys in roster spots I'm not planning on using them in. It put Carlos Lee at my CI position, then I bought Carlos Pena to actually take that position but he got put on my bench. At the end of the draft I had to draft an extra outfielder even though Lee was going to be in my outfield because the system wouldn't let me bid on anything else since I had an "empty" OF position in their arbitrary lineup on the side over there.

this should probably have been in rants.

Ogando is going to be the Rangers 5th starter while Tommy Hunter is out...so at least you have that going for you...

And who ever got Loney, sorry about that. I purposely threw him out there figuring that the ESPN default value was way higher than anyone human would have paid...sure enough there was a nice autobid war going on.

Picked up Wainwright. We'll see if I can carry him on the DL all season.

Ok, finally got some waiver wire stuff done to try to fix my club.

Dropped Nate McLouth and added Alex Gordon (btw, the Royals went from sending him to AAA for much of last season, [expletive] stupid Royals, to batting him 3rd when the season starts)
Dropped Dotel and added Contreras
Dropped Rafael Soriano and added Marco Scutaro
Added Chipper Jones - WTF was he not picked up for like a buck at the end of the draft?
Dropped Matt Joyce and added Bill Hall
Dropped Justin Smoak and added Saltalamacchia
Dropped Braden and added Branyan

Feel a lot better about now.
