I don't remember if it was said here or at the bar Thursday with my Cardinals friend, but someone mentioned that Pujols never seemed like a "leader". He just wanted to play ball and kind of be left alone. I don't seem to recall him doing anything like this and remembered wondering if it's part of the reason Rasmus never grew up.
I think this is awesome and maybe Holliday wasn't comfortable doing this kind of stuff with Albert around. Sounds like he's trying to take over and make this his team.
