A nice warm lager, perhaps?
Seriously though, don't worry too much - as I said, this was a long shot and
having discovered the Appalachians the aim for Sunday has kind of changed to just getting there.
Ofcourse it'd be good to have some company, but it's not the end of the world

Don't be such a [expletive].
Apologies if that came across as rude, it was more a comment on the fact that as of the moment I'm 291 miles exactly (according to Google) from the park it's going to be tight to get there on time.

That's does sound fun, but alas I'll be in Kansas by then

On the plus side, if we're doing stats, I've got a friend at home who's betting on the home team whenever I go a game and he's currently quite a bit up, so I'm a good luck charm, and the only time I've seen the Rangers play they got absolutely hammered - so the omens look good for Sunday

I'm not jim. And I was just trying to make the English feller feel GRB welcome by calling him a feminine name for kvetching about having to ride through the mountains.

I'd like to add that when I was cycling through the Appalachians I could have used a cycling ball fan.

Way to go Luke, wreck our diplomatic relations with England, Great Britain, AND the United Kingdom!
English biker. I presume you will try to catch the Royals vs the Braves on Wednesday.
I'm sure you are well adept at route-finding by now. Nevertheless - The Katy Trail runs you much of the way across Missouri. It's a crushed gravel (chat), but fairly hard-packed. I think your bike can function on it decently.

Haha, I didn't even read who posted it, I just assumed it was Jim (no avatars when I'm on my phone).

I might be at one of the Royals-Braves games this week if that's your next stop.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand I want to tell you to [expletive] off, on the other I'm kind of proud of the reputation I have created for myself.
