Copied from phone, embedding probably won't work. But here's a highlight video.

Dvorsky, Stenberg, Lindstein
Not gonna pretend like I know anything about any of them lol
But seems to be a good draft, and we got them better than their slot would indicate from most I’ve read
Odd they’re all from the Swedish league I believe?

The ESPN crew was apoplectic about the Blues not taking a defenseman at 10, never acknowledging the Blues want help soon if not immediately and d-men notoriously take a long time to develop.

If they feel that bad, maybe they can convince Montreal and/or Philly to trade us Reinbacher and Bonk. (Based on mock drafts and such because I won’t pretend I know anything about these kids either lol)

I think Lindstein was projected to go a bit later than we took him. The two centers were good picks, projected to go around where we got them or a little higher actually. Especially Dvorsky.cardsfantx wrote: ↑June 28 23, 9:04 pmDvorsky, Stenberg, Lindstein

I can't fault Army for taking Lindstein there, though.
I'm excited to see how all the younglings develop. We could have a very exciting young team in a few years. Thomas, Kyrou, Bolduc, Snuggeruud, Neighbors, Dean, Dvorsky, Stenberg.... Man o man. I hope all these guys pan out!

Re: 2023 NHL playoffs/offseason
we didn't have any picks in the 2nd round
in the 3rd round we drafted Quinton Burns and Juraj Pekarcik
apparently our 1st pick Dvorsky and Pekarcik were teammates in Slovakia and the leading scorers for that U18 team

Pekarcik is also VERY young...his birthdate is 4 days away from not even being eligible for this 2023 draft and would've had to wait till 2024 to be drafted
