New nominee for game of the year.
Pujols-amazsome
Ludwick, Ankiel, Skip, Lugo were good.
Regression to the Regifter for Pineiro. Blows two separate leads but we bail him out.
Lot of heart shown to come back against Santana and KRod.
Eh, more like Inning of the Year. This game on the whole wasn't that great but the last few innings were excellent. The Dodger game just kicked ass all around.

I don' t know where to put this, but Jaime Garcia pitched 3 scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts in Palm Beach as part of his rehab assignment.

Encouraging; any word on his velocity?

A poster on scout said that he was throwing 91-92 with an 84 MPH slider. He also said that Mo was at the game, so he must have some expectations that he can help later in the season.

I thought GRB in general kept it cool on Pujols.
Pujols post game interview was pretty good. . He said baseball is tough game, and lots of talent out there and his pace in the the first half was hard to maintain. Pretty humble mang.

I still don't get this. Acknowledging Albert was in a slump doesn't mean one doesn't appreciate what Albert Pujols has done or what he is capable of doing. No one thought he would
never be Albert again...that didn't make it less frustrating that he was struggling (and, yes, by his own admission he was struggling).
We knew it would come. This doesn't vindicate Albert or damn those who were frustrated. We all knew Albert was Albert. Of course, the CT-like idiots who may have doubted he'd ever return to form deserve ridicule, but I think they're in the vast minority and I don't believe any of them are around these parts.
(this isn't aimed at you, planet, just a general thing that's been cropping up from time to time during the Great Pujols Slump of '09.)

I wasn't talking about the board, I was embarrassed by the FSMW interviewers and announcers over the last week or so. That said, I understand that's their job.
