NBA.com asked me to turn off my ad blocker. I do this for media sites because they're dying and it troubles me. important institutions have to run clickbait non-stories of their own, and lame 'this is why no one casts Brendan Frazier anymore' ads disguised as stories between rounds of layoffs. But the Blazers were just valued at 1.7 b in one of the league's worst markets. I think the league will be just fine if I don't have to click through 3 Kia ads to see the standings.
