Can he be a consistently successful NFL QB? Not in my opinion.

He was able to hit wide open receivers, some of them even in stride! But those passes on the last drive that were thrown in to traffic were horrible. The little touchdown screen he threw late and was extremely lucky it wasn't tipped further away. I wasn't impressed with the Steeler secondary today either, especially on the last play. Seemed like a lot of bad coverage and missed tackles, but I'm admittedly no expert. But he threw no picks and was able to hit the open receiver.

He'd be the ideal wild cat back. If Trent Dilfer can win a Super Bowl as QB, then I'm sure Tebow is capable of ridding McGahee and Von Miller to one as well.

Though I'm sure the cognitive dissonance will be in full force after this week and Tebow's eventual fall.

Ike Taylor, who is a very good football player, had the worst game I've ever seen him play. Harrison had a very bad game too. I thought Bruce Arians had a bad game plan as well. Should have been in shot gun and no huddle with quick hits to the receivers. But in the end, this game goes on the defense.

I thought their defensive strategy as a whole was bad. They committed everything to stopping the run and left their DBs matched up one on one all game. Letting Tebow have fairly easy passes to complete is a bad idea. Even when the Broncos run the ball successfully they don't light up the scoreboard. Allowing them to get big plays in the passing game is a mistake. Maybe all of the injuries on the line to Kiesel, Hampton, etc made them worried they couldn't stop the run at all, but they inadvertently made it a lot easier for Tebow to be effective.

The Broncos adjusted well. Tebow executed.

The Chiefs gave up over 200 yards rushing. They gave their corners safety help and rushed the passer. Tebow throws for 60 yards and they score 3 points.

The Steelers put 8 in the box every play with their safeties too shallow to help at all. They were completely preoccupied with stopping the run and containing Tebow in the pocket. So Tebow ends up with all day to throw against one on one coverage. He throws for 316 yards and they score 29 points.

You make a good point about the safeties. The Steelers did gamble too much.

But I still think that the Broncos did a good job of adjusting to that, and Tebow executed well. The story on Tebow is that he can't throw the ball, won't pull the trigger, etc. So I don't blame the Steelers for forcing the issue.
