If Pujols truly is "back"........ oh boy! It's going to be a fun ride!

One thing is certain:
You absolutely cannot [expletive] with Albert Pujols.
Theo should post this, but he did some research yesterday before the game. He noted that in his career, Albert has had a few 10+ game slumps, and that each time Albert has come back to hit between like .380 and .420 the rest of the season. Theo called that the slump was about to end, and predicted Albert will hit .360 over the course of the season.
So everyone go thank him.

I like this plan. I'm excited to be a part of it.heyzeus wrote:Theo called that the slump was about to end, and predicted Albert will hit .360 over the course of the season.

Really? I thought they could have taken about 40 minutes out of it and kept me awake the whole time. This is coming from a person who loves sophmoric humor, and laughed at several parts of the movie. I just thought it dragged on, and the "moral" of the story was transparent.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:I liked itphinstd wrote:hopefully you never watch Funny People again.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:I missed this to go watch Funny People with a girl I'm never going out with again. I just want to say that this was the best Cards game I have ever been to (I live in NY and have been to about 40 Cards games in my life).

Awesome! I absolutely love it (but compared to Shea, anything would be an upgrade). Plenty of room to walk around, and still watch the game. Just a great atmosphere. This is only the 3rd stadium ever that I have seen the Cards win in.Radbird wrote:So what were your impressions of Citi Field, dmarx?
Wrigley: 1-1
RFK: 0-1
Busch II: 0-1 (Game 3 of 2004 WS)
Old Yankee Stadium: 0-2
