I didn't notice that home run robbing problem last year, but from what I've been reading it's not that common, and also harder to do than it used to be.

This site is a good place for reasonable commentary on the game, btw. My sense is that they still prefer the Show, but they've been pretty kind with their impressions of 2k this year. No formal review yet, but they've been asnwering questions in the forum (the second link).

I'm still wrapped up in Fallout 3 and 2k9 comes out Tuesday. Wish games weren't so expensive.
