Im getting tired of the Marquis love fests by some of the people on NSBB. Optimism! We've beat the dead horse enough.

My favorite thing about the Cubs Marquis signing is that the dollars most likely block another 5th starter, which includes Miller who by all accounts is healthy. All in all, I expect to see Jason's performance fall somewhere between the '05 Marquis and the '06 Marquis.

I just heard Mike Murphy on WSCR say the Cubs are one player away from a trip to the WS. Unfortunately, I think that player is Marquis.
