Turnbow looks unhittable again. He did get to calls on Spiezio that were the inside breaking pitches.

The name of the game is offense and the Cards just don't have enough. Chris Duncan is our best player right now.

Would rather lose 20-1 then by one run. Blecch. I despise one-run losses.

Different night, same result: the team isn't designed to score runs without Pujols contributing. It's really not any more complicated than that.

Pitching was still good, tough luck for Kip Wells; had one pitch that wasn't even all that bad that Weeks pounded and it stood up. Duncan needed a little bit better plate discipline with the bases loaded.

Not too much else to talk about.
