OK. Here's my updates. I did a couple things prematurely, but it won't matter much. I went ahead and moved all our pre-arb players into the confirmed category and marked them down for 500k salaries. Some will come in slightly more than that, most will be cheaper than that. Regardless, using that figure puts the payroll a little above actual projections, which the club will easily match and surpass with DL call-ups and promotions. Ankiel is still arb eligible and I'll update his salary when they agree to terms.
The obvious hole is still in the #5 rotation spot, where Anthony Reyes sits now. He won't be there in April, so I still expect the club to add some payroll. We have a plenty of money to spend, but again, not much to spend it on. I don't see any reason from a payroll perspective why we couldn't take on a large salary right now, and the Cards have said as much.
