You have Brady?
No, but my team isn't that great
You had the 2nd most points last week. I think your team is pretty solid, you are only missing a top WR.
...and a TE

I think Heap will be fine most weeks, but there are a couple of TEs who had good week 1s you could take a flyer on. A top TE will get you 10-14 points/week. A good te will get you 5-9 points/week. TE usually doesn't make or break you unless you get one of the top 2.

This is a different league than any I've been in. The 4 pts for passing TD's makes a difference, no fractional points, only 10 teams. The waiver setting itself every Tuesday and not being able to pick up FA's is different as well.

In my team setup, I royally screwed the pooch, but hopefully I'll catch on to the nuances of this type league, and the crappy players that I didn't like even at the time, but supposedly were ranked highly, will start to play up to those rankings. I don't like Addai. I don't like Jamal Lewis. I'm not huge on Boldin. Carson Palmer is going to have a bad year. Yet somehow, I managed to end up with all of them.

Yay me.

Huh, I didn't even notice the QB TDs were only 4 points. I just generally focus on QBs later because I figure a solid QB is easier to find than a top RB or WR, and you only start one QB, as oppossed to two or three of the other. Plus QBs seem to get injured less often, and you don't have committies like you do with runningbacks. I think I took one QB before the 7th or 8th round (4 leagues, took one in the 5th in one league), and I wasn't happy about it.

I don't remember but if I was commish I must pass the buck to yahoo because I always go default.

No "blame" trying to be passed. Just different to me is all. In the end, it will make me a better player to be introduced to a new format.

Sounds like we're similar. I never take a QB early either. I took Cutler in the 11th round of my 12-team league, and I think I might like him better than Palmer this year. My other league is a dynasty, complicated 16-team league, and Favre was one of my keepers.

It took that legendary Ronnie Brown performance, but I smoked JC to get my first win.

Unfortunately I doubt it lasts.
