Ole Miss lost to Texas A&M tonight by 2, which makes Mizzou's horribly embarrassing loss to Texas A&M slightly less horribly embarrassing.
It's also nice to see the Tigers play well on the road like they did tonight. [expletive] finally.

I didn't catch the game but that's a pretty strange box score. How the hell do you win by 42 points getting basically nothing from Pressey and Oriakhi?
This season is the least college basketball I have watched in a lot of years. Between Mizzou's inconsistency and my lack of interest in any other teams or players, I just don't make a point of tuning in. Moving to the SEC also killed my interest a lot, especially living in KC. It was way more fun following the Big XII and talking trash with all the other fans.

I've wondered ever since the move how KC would play out. I'm kind of bummed that it's playing out that way, although it makes perfect sense. I'll admit that the SEC move has me way more interested in football. But my waning interest in basketball has a lot more to do with the way they've played, coupled with Haith's prior record before coming to Mizzou.cardsfansince82 wrote: Moving to the SEC also killed my interest a lot, especially living in KC. Basically Bell was a monster tonight, and Mississippi St. shot like total dog [expletive]. Part of me wants to point out that Mississippi St. is horrible and that's the reason for the blowout, but it's hard to do so when Mizzou couldn't put away similarly crappy teams like A&M and LSU.

Weren't you living in Vegas?cardsfansince82 wrote:I didn't catch the game but that's a pretty strange box score. How the hell do you win by 42 points getting basically nothing from Pressey and Oriakhi?

I lived in Vegas from 2007-10 until I got caught in a layoff and no one was hiring at all. I moved back to Missouri and took a job in KC shortly after that.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:Weren't you living in Vegas?
I'm still pissed about the end of that Arkansas game. Mizzou has been terrible this year at closing games, but the refs in the SEC are a joke. The only concern seems to be appeasing the home crowd.

I find myself watching, and enjoying, more Georgetown games than MU games.

I can't watch Georgetown without getting pissed at Mike Anderson all over again.

Re: 2012-13 Mizzou Basketball
Florida is so good. I'll be floored if Mizzou wins this game. Of course, if they'd taken care of business against A&M and LSU, it wouldn't mean [expletive] if they lost this game.
It's great to see Bowers playing well, though. Whatever they're going to do, they need him playing like the monster he was early in the year.

It's not over yet but I can't remember two more frustrating games than the Arkansas game and this one.
