I asked for the lightest bat the baseball/softball store had, and that's what they gave me. She's still a year away from little league anyway.

Lightest bat?! How is she going to go pro if you don't have her lifting now?

Well, she is left-handed. Darren Oliver can't pitch forever.

Nice thing about 4 girls, you're not going to run out of clothes for her.

The downside is in a few years, when he starts living out of a suitcase because they've taken over his closet.

Yes this is a toddler story, but I promise you'll like it.

'Zeus Jr. is starting to actually talk, and that is hilarious in and of itself. But for some reason, he switches certain letters in his words. This is particularly noticeable for any word ending in -ock or -uck. For whatever reason, these words -- sock, truck, clock -- all are pronounced "[expletive]."

So any time we're driving, or walking near a road, or in a store, and he sees a truck or a clock or starts talking to his socks, he happily says "c-o-c-k!"

My mom gave him a little toy UPS truck that winds up and goes. He carries it with him everywhere. Here is a sample conversation from the Target checkout. Keep in mind, toddlers don't say anything without shouting it:

[expletive]!
Brown [expletive]!
BIG BROWN [expletive]!

It's tons of fun.

At the age of five my daughter is really starting to pick up on (perceived) gender roles. Boys do this, girls do that, etc. I had to talk her into watching Spiderman a while back because she thought boys like Spiderman.
