Am struck by the stark differences in stay at home living between myself and my friends with kids.

Drive By Truckers have been postponed in STL until Sept.
This fall is going to be a packed schedule.

Was so pumped to see Rage Against the Machine; now that's been postponed until God know when. Supposed to see Sir Elton in July, so hopeful that one still goes off as planned.

You guys losing track of time? Like Day of the week. But moreso, did something happen last week or 3 weeks ago?

Our time markers are out of whack. Such as no baseball. A lot less to relate what happened to something else on the calendar

I know day my granddaughter was born, so that's helped me relate dates a few times.

Along this line, was trying to remember the last time I opened my wallet to pay for something with cash. I think it was about 3 weeks ago when I needed a coffee on the go. I have no idea how much cash is in my wallet, if any.

I have no idea where my wallet even is. I haven't left the house, other than to run, since .... Sunday?

On the bright side, not getting out will prevent me (probably a lot of us) from dropping money on unnecessary things (and some necessary things like gas). Hell, when cooking we don't even go out to get ingredients....just substitute the hell out of whatever. No eating out. No day trips to...wherever. I bet our weekly burn rate has halved since this thing started.

It has really put a dent in my tail chasing. I mean, I still chase it, but it's harder to catch. Not that I ever caught any.

I'm the same way. Other than a trip or two to the grocery store each week to stock back up or pick up some odds and ends that I need for a meal I plan on cooking, I am spending zero money. It is kind of nice in that regard.

My bank account would really be loving this if that deer hadn't run into the side of my car the other week. I was all set to work the day job from home M-F and then deliver for a few hours after work most nights of the week and then on Saturday and Sundays almost all day. In the four hours before the deer incident, I made over $100. Combine that with not being able to go anywhere else to spend money, I was looking to really build the savings up. Instead I now have to pay to fix the car and am not even able to deliver to make that money right now. Stupid deer ruined my near term financial future!

We won't be using our cleaning lady & her crew (comes every two weeks), obviously. A cleaning lady was a luxury I never thought I'd agree to, but she is amazing - well worth it. I upped her pay without her asking - it was too low.

Anyways, she is in cancer treatment -so especially no way she is coming. We are still paying her, as are friends that use her/recommended her to us..

I’m still going to work doing mostly what i did before. Just everyone now has a lot of bleach spots on their unis.

I have 33.5 PTO days left for the year. I can only carryover 8 days. So when and where am I going to take the other 25.5 days?
