And my Dad had a hunch before game 5 and bought tickets that morning (before prices skyrocketed) even though I told him I'm beyond out of monies. I'll be there tonight. God... if only... just... please
Love you’ll be there jc! Super jealous.
Yeah tix were about $1k or just above from what I saw before game 5 then jumped to about $2k. Good call getting them early!

EDIT: confirmed via Blues twitter.

now and Acciari sees Bozak coming before he turns. He turns his back to Bozak so Bozak can't hit him lest he be suspended ala Sundqvist. Bozak hits the breaks and tries to play the puck. He completely whiffs on the puck but it's not his stick that caused any problems. Bozak's leg hits Acciari's leg after Bozak had been shaving ice for 5'.
Then.
Acciari goes down like an anvil took out his legs, flips his right leg over his head amazingly from a simply trip, and grabs his head, is slow to get up, basically hits every note for concussion protocol that's possible except for the acting confused portion since he yells at the refs. You know who else did that and was not concussed (minus the yelling at refs part)? Backes. After he got lit the [expletive] up by Blais....but then he continued on playing and had no issues. Backes checked every single box for concussion spotters but wasn't concussed. He's obviously a flopper. And, he probably learned it from Boston who probably teaches all their players how to flop like pros. Because they're cheaters. [expletive] cheaters. There's flopping and then there's concussion worthy flopping. And, that's the bruins. Advanced level cheaters in the art of flopping.
People assume Bozak quit to plead his case. Boazk quit because he was confused af.
And the hockey gods were not please. Hence Perron getting a few lucky bounces.
I had that same vibe re-watching, but didnt know if my Blues fans lens was causing it.

I know people are all up in arms about it and it's going to be discussed ad nauseum forever which is unfortunate. And, I readily admit I have a bias watching it.
But, look, the ref is staring directly at the play. Acciari takes one look at Bozak coming and turns his back to him, rotating his leg into Bozak's path, flipping the puck off the boards. Bozak starts to slow down, and I'd guess didn't expect Acciari to turn so much. I highly doubt he wanted to run into his leg.
The leading theory from what I've seen is that the penalties were 3-1 against the blues and the refs didn't want to make it 4-1 because....of what Berube said after game 3? That's the leading theory out there, not making it up just saying what seems to be what others are saying.
The ref didn't miss it. He certainly saw exactly what happened. Perhaps his view was screened partially by Carlo and maybe he thought Carlo was nudging Bozak but it's an easy call if he thinks it's tripping. He certainly saw Bozak stop and throw out his arms as well as Acciari go down. Again, he's staring right at it.
While I find it tough to believe that the ref saw that and thought it was a flop, clearly Bozak's leg makes contact, perhaps he thought it was too much of an exaggeration and didn't call it due to that. It really is kind of unbelievable he didn't call it. Nothing really makes sense.
So, not that I know all that much about how refs think (actually I know nothing) there are only a couple things that can explain it and I'll put them in what I find most likely to least likely:
1. He thought Acciari exaggerated the contact as has been seen in the SCF.
2. He just froze and made a, seemingly, bad no-call.
.
.
.
.
.
3. He didn't want to call a penalty on the blues.
Regardless, Boston's response to the Krug hit on Thomas was the refs didn't call it so it's all good. And, I guess that's as good a position as any to take. [expletive] off, Boston.
I still believe that the ice was a factor in that call. Players were falling all over the place, it was brutal. It would be hard on the refs to determine if a guy fell because of the ice or a trip, especially if you didn't see it well.
