Lol.....I've learned to have zero expectations when it comes to the Blues. But the "if you would have told me....." lines crack me up.... after going up 2-0 and the Blues started doing their normal thing I first heard "if......we'd be up 2-1 after 3 I'd be ecstatic", now its "if.....we'd be tied 2-2 after 4 I'd have taken it"
What's the line if they go down 3-2?
If you'd told me on January 1, 2019 that the Blues would even be in the Playoffs then I'd have taken it.
I can do this all day when it comes to the Blues. Even if I don't really believe it myself, I'm pretty good at coming up with some BS.
Its true for me. A buddy asked me who I thought would win. I said I had no clue but I figured it would go 6 or 7.
After we went up 2-0, yeah, it sucks that we lost 2, but 2-2 isn't bad against a damn good team. If the Jets would have focused on how much it sucked being down 2-0, they probably wouldn't have won the next 2. Take what you can get and focus on what is in front of you.
If Winnipeg wins the line is, "Being down 3-2 sucks. They need to win."
They are down 2-0 after the 1st. The line is, "this sucks, they need to score goals and win this game, or else the odds of a series win is very low."
