Sunny is definitely hit or miss, and it seems last season in particular had more misses than before. But the hits are as high as ever.

30 Rock, Always Sunny, The League, Archer, Louie, Eastbound and Down. I'm sure more if I put my mind to it.
I've only seen 30 Rock, Sunny, and Archer from that list, and while those have episodes that I like better than any Modern Family, I don't think they are consistently as funny.
I'll cop to being biased against Modern Family because A) people keep comparing it to Arrested Development which is ludicrous and B) I'm sick of the mockumentary format. The Office and Parks & Rec are all the room I have in my attention span for that schtick.

Then drop Parks and Rec.

I actually don't watch it regularly. The Office too.

I don't get why Modern Family has to be a mockumentary other than that's sort of the thing to do now. It's not like you need that to justify the shaky, handheld camera approach. That's pretty well established in pure fiction at this point.

I'm really enjoying Rubicon, Mad Men's lead in. AMC is batting 1.000 right now with Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Rubicon, so being an AMC TV fan and a zombie fan, I'm really excited for 'The Walking Dead.'

I'm only Season 1 deep into 30 Rock and it's pretty funny. Not AD funny but worth watching while I'm convalescing but I just don't find the blonde funny at all.

Same. I don't like Kenneth either.

I think alot of the 'voice overs' they juxtapose with different scenes works pretty, especially when what they say doesn't quite line up with what actually happened.

++ to Rubicon. Some of the code breaking is a little outlandish but nonetheless, as spy shows go it has tremendous restraint and slow pacing, sort of old school, as opposed to solving all the problems by technological magic like most intelligence operations are portrayed in tv and movies these days.
