Rustica is perfect for after a game because the crowd has dropped by then.
If you're a Wrigley binge drinking moron you go south, Rustica is north.
If you're getting on the el, you're stopping before Rustica.
If you're going to any of the major north/south bus lines, you're not headed toward Rustica.
It's just across the border from what is really game-day Wrigleyville.

All Chicago-style pizza sucks, so saying something is better than normal Chicago-style pizza is like saying something is less overrated than The Doors. Nothing can be as overrated as The Doors...except maybe 2Pac. It's kinda a given that any C-grade pizza is > the best Chicago deep dish garbage.

Makes sense. I really love that place, I've eaten there 4-5 times and I really thought it was the best pizza I've ever remembered.

I have to admit I'm not sure I know what Chicago style exactly is. I will say that I do like Nancy's pizza - cheese only. My roomate in college grew up on the NW side of Chicago (met my wife through him), and we made plans after fall semester to go to a Bears game and hang out with him. He kept talking about this pizza and saying it *this* thick with what we thought was some exaggerated measurement. We did go out, were razzing him pretty good waiting for the pizza, and then they plopped it down on our table and we just all shut up. It really was *that* thick.

But cheese only. I don't like that stuff with any ingredients.

I have to say as much as I hate to admit it that there is no contest between Chicago and St. Louis pizza. I love St. Louis, but not it's pizza.

Probably why Obama picked St. Louis deep dish over Chicago.

That says more about his decision making than St. Louis pizza.

I suspect you haven't had Pi pizza. Not for everyone but couldn't be any more different from Imos

Pi is fine, but it's incredibly overrated.

(but you are correct, it's not even close to STL style and they pride themselves on that fact)

I really like Pi. In fact, I'm now craving it. I love the chunky tomato sauce. But is it really pizza? I don't know. To me real pizza starts (and almost ends) with the crust and Pi ain't that.

I don't find it overrated mostly bc I haven't heard many people raving about it since that Obama thing.

I really like that A Better Pizza place next to Mike's in O'Fallon MO. It's Chicago-style and they have Cubs picture up though, which sux.
