And yeah, that Evan kid is the epitome of [expletive] Boston sports fans.

That is cool. Should work better.

We were in the morass of the game 6 watch party by Soldiers Memorial. It was a fun one-timer. The intermission dj [expletive] was a bit too much for my 50-something shetty music filter. Damn is it bad. "Come on y'all, let's make some noooize!!!" We wanted to, just not to a [expletive] d-bag.

We had no issue other than the$14 25 oz warm bud products. But i sensed it was a bit much for logistics side.

I funnelled about 8 beers into Mtn dew and aw rootbeer bottles , to bring in, wish i did about 3 times that for our group.

And [expletive] Yeah, and i led the charge taking me shirt off. Watching at home wed. May not wear pants if they win.

I have this gut feel that teams that win game 6 end up winning game 7 too. Maybe that's because I've seen it happen so many times with the Cardinals. Thankfully that's not really the case in the Stanley Cup playoffs over the years.

For teams in Boston's situation (won game 6, playing game 7 at home) they win game 7 only 47.8% of the time overall, only 42% of the time at home.

And as bad as Sunday felt, teams that win game 5 to set up a clinching game at home for game 6 only win that game 52% of the time. They win 81% of the series overall though.

Sunday was a godawful kick in the nuts. I was fighting tears during the pregame festivities thinking, "Will this actually happen?" "Will I actually see it?"

All that crap is over. No matter how we got here, I'll never be unhappy with the Blues playing in game 7 of the mother [expletive] Stanley Cup Finals. There is a game to win tomorrow. Go win it Blues.

Winning on Sunday would have been too perfect. 52 years of pent up frustration, winning at home? I think the city may have literally exploded. The sports gods look out for cities in these circumstances. In baseball, the Red Sox, White Sox, Cubs, Giants, Astros--all ended long, frustrating streaks of World Series futility in the last 20 years. All clinched on the road. In hockey, the Blackhawks and Capitals won on the road. The Kings won at home, but I think LA was just confused why the Lakers were wearing skates.

Why don't we do it on the road?

Good luck to anyone trying to get Busch Stadium watch party tickets. You have to go in and select your seats, and of course as soon as you do that and click continue they are "no longer available". Would have been better to have you select a number of tickets and have them randomly assign you that number of seats, but whatever.

Just keep clicking. I finally snagged two, and I have no clue where. As long as I can see the scoreboard and its moderately dry I'll be happy.
